It is with great sadness to inform that Mr Sooripillai Balachandiran peacefully passed away on 21/04/21 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He served in HCPPA Colombo for many years in different capacities as President and Secretary. He is the brother of late Dr Balasuntharam (Arayampathy- Batticolo), late Mr Balayogan (former teacher – Kokuvil Hindu College, Jaffna), Mr Balasothy (Chartered Civil Engineer-UK), Late Mr Balendran (former teacher- Royal College, Colombo), Late Mr Balakrishnan (former air traffic controller- Abu Dhabi Airport), Mr Balasingam (Chartered Accountant- London). All of them were studied at Hartley College and served to the Our Alma mater for decades in different capacities.
