This year’s Hartleyites Night had an exceptional feature compared to our previous dinners, i.e. cultural programmes by our own college students and teachers. This was in addition to our regular Guest of Honours in person & virtual speeches.
Our students and teachers performed and produced fantastic programmes including dances, songs (college songs, religious, Karnatic, own lyrics), Group Musical etc. These were planned, rehearsed and produced within a short period of time by complying with the Covid restrictions. HCPPA-UK appreciates their efforts and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to these successful programmes.
HCPPA-UK awarded 28 shields and presents to every student and teacher who were behind these shows. These were presented to 17 current & 5 former students, 4 current teachers, a former teacher and one for the School. HCPPA-UK strongly believes that this appreciation would encourage many more students to participate in this kind of the fine arts programmes in future.
The awards were presented by Principal Mr T. Kalaichelvan, current HCPPA-UK president Mr N. Surendran and our former Vice President Mr. S. Arunthavarajah at a small celebration at one of the SMART rooms on 10/12/2021.
