This year’s Gala Day will not only be a gathering but also a family day outing for everyone with more entertaining activities including boat rides.
How to book the boats
Boats can be booked in advance over the phone on 01252 370073, or at Reception. We do advise that you book in advance to save disappointment.
If you’ve booked in advance, all you have to do then is turn up 10 minutes before your hire is due to start and wait at the designated waiting point issued to you at the time of the booking.
If you are booking from reception, simply report to reception where a member of staff will check availability of the boats for you and then get you booked in and give you waiting instructions.
Please note that the hire of a boat is non refundable unless the Canal Authority have had to cancel in which case a full refund will be offered.
Prices
Pedalos – £9 per half hour
Rowing boats – £15 for 1 hour £18 for 1 ½ hours
Canoes – £12.50 for 1 hour £15 for 1 ½ hours
Double Kayak – £13 for 1 hour £16 for 1 ½ hours
Single Kayaks – £13 for 1 ½ hours
Boat rides are only available till 4pm and therefore please come early for this activity.
