It is with great sadness we announce the death of Mr. Samuel Ebenezar Manoharan on 23rd October 2021 at the age of 65, in London, UK.

Samuel was the beloved husband of Clotilda (Mano) and adoring father of Talitha Dushiyanthie. He was the loving son of the late Mr. W.N.S Samuel (former Principal of Hartley College) and Inpamani Samuel, and the eldest brother of Dr. S.D. Vasikaran (Perth), S.G. Kirubakaran (Perth) and S.T. Prabaharan (UK).

Samuel was the Chief Financial Officer of Consumers International in London for approximately 20 years. He was also the Head Prefect of Hartley College and a member of the cricket squad in the 70s. Additionally, he was a former President of the HCPPA-UK.

Samuel Manoharan authored many articles, some of which were published in the news media including The Times, UK and Sunday Observer, Sri Lanka. He choreographed/ performed in musical dramas at school and composed many songs throughout his life. He was a skilled pianist and excelled in elocution, receiving multiple awards in recognition of his talents.

Samuel Manoharan’s funeral service will be held at All Saints Church, Inman Row, Woodford Wells on 11th November at 12:45 pm followed by cremation at City of London Cemetery & Crematorium, Manor Park at 3:15pm.
