With great sadness and heavy heart, we are informing that Mr Vinasithamby Sethunayagam (JP and retired GS in Point Pedro) passed away on 1st December 2021 peacefully at his residence, Point Pedro, Sri Lanka. He is the son of Late Mr Vinasithamby and Late Mrs Mangaitkarasy. He is the beloved husband of Puvaneswary (retired teacher) and loving father of late Mr Ganesharajah, late Mr Raveendrarajah, Mr Arunthavarajah (former vice president of HCPPA-UK), Mr Kantharajah, Mr Selvarajah and Mrs Logeswary.
Mr Sethunayagam studied at Hartley from 1944 to 1954. He excelled in both academic and sports activities at School. He was a captain of College Volleyball team, colours winner of football, member of athletic and cricket teams. He was a former secretary and a President for HCPPA Parent body, and He served our Alma Mater for many years.
