Please find the following updates from HCPPA-UK;
  1. Membership Drive
    HCPPA-UK is on a membership drive to increase its strength. Our gratitude for those who have already joined/renewed their membership for 2023. So far, we have 107 members in which 87 – life members, 16 – 5 years members, and 4 – annual members. Our target for this year is to increase our membership to at least 200
    before 31 st May 2023. I kindly request all the Hartleyites to join as a member in HCPPA-UK and serve to our College. We have recently introduced online payment portal on our website (https://hcppa.co.uk/join-us/) for membership payment. You can easily submit and pay your HCPPA-UK membership via our website. Please help us by passing this information to other Hartleyites in UK.
  2. Nathavinotham 2023
    We are in the process of arranging our branded musical show “Nathavinotham” on Saturday 29th April 2023. The details of the event will be circulated in due course. Please save the date on your diary. If any of you wants to promote your business and advertise on our event please contact us.
  3. Hartleyites Day & Battle of the Blues
    The Hartleyites day and Battle of the Blues will be on Saturday 15 th of July 2023. We will notify the venue and other arrangements closer to the event. Please save the date on your diary.
  4. AGM & Hartleyites Night
    This year AGM and Hartleyites Night will be held in two separate dates to provide enough time for the AGM. AGM will be on Saturday 4 th of November 2023 and the Hartleyites Night will be on Saturday 11th November 2023. Further details will be provided closer to the event.
  5. We are closely working with the Principal, Global trust and other PPAs to support our Alma mater. Now the School is closed for the GCE A/L Exam. However, Principal has arranged some extra teaching classes for Grade 11 students in auditorium. He also arranged practice exams for the 2023 A/L students to prepare for their final exam. School will restart their academic activities on 20th February 2023. Currently, 18 students are in our hostel. Out of 18 students, 8 students are studying GCE A/L and other 10 students are studying Grade 6 to 11. PPAs are supporting some extra tuition classes for hostel A/L students.
  6. School is planning to arrange sports meet in March 2023. J/Nelliady Central College wants to arrange a football match between Hartley College and Nelliady central college to celebrate their 100th year celebration. This football tournament will continue every year on the name of our honourable teacher Late Mr Ratnasabapathi name. This year, the football tournament is organised on 25th of March 2023.
