Hartleyites showcased remarkable performances at the Sri Lanka Junior Athletic Championships 2023. S. Mithunraj secured an impressive feat by earning three Gold Medals in Discus throw, Put shot, and Hammer Throw in the under 23. Notably, he established a new Sri Lankan record of 43.61m in the discuss throw event. U. Tharun displayed great skill and earned a silver medal in the under 16 Hammer throw. R. Sanjai also secured a silver medal in the under 20 Hammer throw, while P. Mithusan achieved a silver medal in the under 23 Discus throw. A. Nitharsan made the Hartleyites proud by clinching the Gold medal in the Hammer throw and setting a new record of 35.19m in the under 18 category.
In addition to these impressive achievements, it is worth noting that T. Shanthosh showcased great skill by securing the 4th place in the Under 23 Discus Throw category as well.
